The upcoming episode of "Girl Meets World" season 3 will see Riley (Rowan Blanchard) adopting an online persona.

The official synopsis for episode 3, titled "Girl Meets Jexica," reads:

"Riley worries that her new classmates don't like the real her so she invents an online alter-ego named Jexica; Cory and Topanga face Auggie's internet usage."

A promotional video has also been released for the upcoming episode and it features Riley as her alternate ego, Jexica. The 15-second clip teases Riley's popularity at school as Jexica—so much so that it even escalates to everyone dressing up as her. Based on the video, Jexica's look seems to be inspired by a cartoon or anime. As her online persona, Riley sports a light blue wig, a black and gold top, a colorful vest, a moss green jacket, a hot pink tutu skirt, black stockings and black boots. She also seems to be carrying a stick of some sort as she holds it up and declares, "I am Jexica!"

According to reports, Riley's creation of Jexica stems from her fear that she won't be liked just the way she is. Her friends, including Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) and Lucas (Peyton Meyer), will be privy to the information of Jexica's true identity and will not approve of it. Riley will apparently use the persona online by making a fake account for her.

Aside from that, Riley's younger brother, Auggie (Augustus Maturo), will be dealing with some Internet-related problems as well. It seems that Auggie's usage of the Internet will be a cause for concern for his parents, Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel).

The first two episodes mainly focused on the gang's entry into high school and their ability to cope with the changes around them. "Girl Meets World" is a show known for its relatable topics, especially for the younger generation.

Fans will find out how Riley will deal with her new identity when "Girl Meets World" season 3 episode 3 airs on Friday, June 10 on the Disney Channel.
