'Go Pro Hero 5' news: next edition of action camera with be more compact

Fans have a lot more to be excited about as rumors on the new "Go Pro Hero 5" comes to the surface.

We here at Ecumenical news have previously reported that GoPro Inc., the company behind the popular action camera is planning on releasing their new "Go Pro Hero 5," at a later date, possibly by 2016. Since the company would like time to work on the new improvements, that would really step their game up versus other action cameras that are readily available in the market.

The company has recently released a smaller version of the action camera, entitled "GoPro Hero Session", the smaller camera could be a reason why the new "Go Pro Hero 5" is taking time.

According to Latinos Post, there are a lot of things to look forward to with the new "Go Pro Hero 5". The camera speculated to have an improved waterproof capability, capturing great shots as deep as 60 meter below the surface. The report states the new action camera will also have a dive housing for each reach and access.

Christian Post also reports that the new "Go Pro Hero 5", will come with an 8k resolution which is double its predecessors who only had 4k resolution. The camera is also expected to record videos with 60 fps, and would have at least an A10 chip to run.

Mater Herald reports that the new "Go Pro Hero 5" would also be lighter and smaller than previous versions, good enough for the device to be mounted on helmets and other surfaces.

The action camera is speculated to be priced at $550 once it hits the markets, while it will be more price-y than its predecessors, the new action camera will really be a good upgrade to any enthusiast.

GoPro Inc. has yet to confirm a release date for their new "Go Pro Hero 5".
