(GoPro)The follow up device to the GoPro Hero 4 named the GoPro Hero 5 could be delayed

With the latest news going on about GoPro products, 2016 is becoming more exciting. Fans are looking forward to the release of the GoPro Hero 5 and the very first GoPro drone called Karma. Hero 5's release, which was originally said to be in October of this year, got postponed to the early months of 2016, according to Tech News Today. The top maker of versatile cameras is still reportedly furnishing the features and adding some upgrades that will make the camera standout from its competitors. This, according to reports, is the reason for the unexpected delay.

Consumers surely want to know what comes with the camera before they decide to purchase it. There have been rumors spreading about the camera's specs. One of the mentioned rumors has to do with its size and weight. The device will be 50 percent smaller and 40 percent lighter than its predecessor, according to an article in Vine Report.

Another rumor says the camera will be capable of recording a full Ultra HD 8K-video format that doubles the ability of the Hero 4 Black. It can take 60 frames per second, unlike the current version, which is only capable of taking 30 frames per second. Another special feature is said to be the waterproof housing that will allow the user to take videos and photos while submerged underwater of up to 100 feet. A longer lasting 2800 mAh battery, which can record continuously for two hours, is speculated to be included. The price reportedly plays around $450 to $550.

In other news, the first ever drone coming from GoPro called Karma has been greatly talked about. The device might be released together with the GoPro Hero 5, but these are all just speculations and the company has not released an official statement yet as of writing.
