'Grimm' season 6 release date, spoilers: Adalind-Nick-Juliette love triangle to be explored; Nick, Sean won't be friends

(Facebook/NBCGrimm)Nick and Sean won't be friends, despite the latter saving the former's life in season 5.

"Grimm" season 5 ended in a cliffhanger with Nick (David Giuntoli) being saved from harm by his adversary, Sean Renard (Sasha Roiz), hinting that the two may end their feud once and for all.

However, this might seem unlikely as both Roiz and Giuntoli hinted during the San Diego Comic Con that there will be more tension for their characters when the series returns.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Giuntoli also confirmed that his character and Renard won't be friends at all based on the lines he read.

"We've read the first three scripts [of season 6]. We're not friends in the first three scripts," Giuntoli shared. In addition, it was revealed that Renard will be farther from the light in season 6. Roiz said of his character, "Renard kind of goes to the dark side quite a bit."

Now that it's been confirmed, fans can stop wondering if the two will ever make their peace soon.

Meanwhile, Nick's relationship with the women in his life is expectedly one of the highlights of "Grimm" season 6. In fact, there will be a love triangle involving Nick, his baby momma Adalind (Claire Coffee) and his real love, Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch).

As it can be recalled, Juliette now has a different personality – Eve. In an interview with Blastr, Giuntoli confirmed that Eve will start remembering a piece of herself from the past and she and Nick will eventually have a sit-down talk about it. This should stir up the romance between Nick and Adalind.

Other spoilers include a happier note for Rosalee (Bree Turner) and Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell). The couple will welcome their baby soon in season 6. Although this is an important and happy event to be featured in the series, both Rosalee and Monroe will need to take that extra step in being cautious, considering there is always the existence of unknown entities that can harm the baby.

"Grimm" season 6 is expected to premiere in the fall.
