'Grimm' season 6 premiere spoilers: Adalind decides which is more important, family or love?

(Facebook/NBCGrimm)Adalind makes a difficult choice in "Grimm" season 6.

Adalind (Claire Coffee) will be facing a crossroads in the upcoming season of "Grimm." She will have no choice but to decide what is more important to her – the family that she has with Renard (Sasha Roiz) or her love for Nick (David Giuntoli).

Last installment, viewers saw how Adalind sacrificed her own happiness to keep Nick safe. She knew her powers as a hexenbiest were returning and they could only mean trouble for him. Renard also made things complicated with his return, demanding that Adalind come back to him and their daughter, Diana (Hannah R. Loyd). During the finale, she chose to remain with Renard, but Nick was determined to get her back.

In his interview with TV Insider, Giuntoli discussed Nick's frame of mind regarding Adalind's actions coming into the new season.

"I think Nick knows she's being played by Renard and Black Claw. He also knows she would do anything to protect her children. Her maternal concerns are everything, and they would trump anything she might do to protect Nick," he said.

While Nick is worrying about Adalind, he will find himself facing an unexpected hurdle. Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) has started remembering that she is Juliette. She also realizes the predicament that she is in. Nick has already moved on from her and it might be too late to do something about it. Giuntoli basically admitted that Nick's first priority is Adalind and even if Juliette returns, it will not change his mind. On top of that, Juliette killed Nick's mother and it would take a while for him to forgive her.

Meanwhile, CarterMatt reports that season 6 of "Grimm" will air in October. The website cited a Facebook Live video posted by Tulloch, where she told the fans to get ready for the return of the NBC series on Friday, Oct. 28. NBC has already released its lineup for the fall, but the supernatural series was not included in the list.
