'Halo 5: Guardians' beta testing date for Warzone Firefight

(Official Website)"Halo 5: Guardians" is the next installment in the legendary saga of the Master Chief.

Team up and suit up Spartans because "Halo 5: Guardians" will be having the beta testing of its new game mode, Warzone Firefight. The beta testing will run from Apr. 14 to 18, as seen in a Twitter post by the developers.

For those who are unfamiliar, Warzone Firefight is a cooperative mode wherein players have to defeat waves of enemies with increasing difficulty per round. This game mode is seen in "Halo 3: ODST." The difference here is that instead of four players like in "Halo 3: ODST," "Halo 5: Guardians" pushes the boundaries a little bit by increasing the players to eight. Also, it will be adding the "Mythic" enemy bosses to the mix. The developer mentions that it is an ambitious move and may be the biggest coop experience of the franchise, as reported by a post on its website.

"Warzone Firefight is an ambitious new multiplayer mode coming to 'Halo 5: Guardians' that stands primed to offer the biggest Halo cooperative experience ever in franchise history. In Warzone Firefight, up to eight players will work together to complete five rounds of increasingly difficult, dynamic objectives set against a timer to emerge victorious."

The developer also mentions that players will have access to the REQs system that will aid them and their team to victory. The REQ system is a form of reward system in the game wherein players will get to receive weapons, armors, or vehicles that can help turn the tide of the battle. If this is the case in the upcoming game mode, then gamers will be expecting a lot of chaos and explosion almost like an epic battle of hordes of enemies trying to take down eight brave Spartans.

This may be one of the best experiences the game will be providing gamers and fans. Hopefully, the beta testing goes smoothly for both player and developer wherein little to no issues pop up.
