'Hawaii Five-0' season 6 spoilers: Danny and Steve go undercover in finale; has justice finally caught up with Gabriel?

It looks like karma has finally caught up with Gabriel Waincroft in the two-part finale of "Hawaii Five-0" season 6. But the criminal mastermind is the least of the team's worries as Steve also suffers a life-threatening injury.

Chin Ho's (Daniel Dae Kim) brother-in-law has been a big thorn on "Hawaii Five-0's" side the whole season and a threat to Chin and Kono's (Grace Park) lives. But the previous episode also showed that the merciless Gabriel (Christopher Sean) is also a family man whose wife was murdered and daughter kidnapped. While Chin was able to save his niece from her kidnappers, it also set the stage for a big showdown in the next episode.

"Hawaii Five-0" fans will be getting two exciting hours for the show's finale. Episode 24, "Pa'a Ka 'ipuka I Ka 'Upena Nananana" or "The Entrance is Stopped with a Spider's Web," will see Gabriel's enemies closing in on him. His only hope for survival lies with the "Five-0" team who are also hard-pressed to keep the criminal mastermind alive as they're pinned down inside a dilapidated building in Oahu's Chinatown.

Gabriel's story might end in episode 24 as he reportedly won't be seen in episode 25, "O Ke Ali'i Wale No Ka'u Makemake" or "My Desire is Only for the Chief." In this episode, McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) and Danno (Scott Caan) are on an undercover assignment that aims to put an end to the meth epidemic plaguing the island. But when his partner is gravely injured, Danno breaks their cover to save Steve.

A trailer for the upcoming finale is certainly action packed, as the five members of "Five-0" are seen storming a building. They enter a room and are surprised by who they see inside. A woman says that she wants "him" dead and demands that they kill them all. A large group of armed men appear to be ready to do her bidding. Steve says they're being compromised and a shootout between the SWAT team and members of the armed group lends credence to his assertion. It certainly seems to be a bloody operation as a man on the ground taunts Danno to shoot him, while Abby (Julie Benz) is seen kneeling, with a gun pointed at her head.

Several men are seen shooting at Steve, followed by a shot of Kono at the hospital saying that "Steve's been shot." This is probably a scene from the second hour of the finale. The clip ends with Chin and Kono sharing a hug as Steve is shown being wheeled in the hospital.

With a seventh season of the show in the bag, there's little chance that the finale would end with the Navy Seal commander dying. However, showrunner Peter Lenkov did say to TV Guide that the finale is a "McGarrett/Danny story, and probably the [highest] stakes that we've done between these two guys ever." He also said that the life-and-death ordeal will connect the two "more than ever."

That hint is certainly enough for fans to catch episodes 24 and 25 of "Hawaii Five-0" season 6 when it's aired on CBS on May 13, 9 p.m.
