Various rumors and speculations have surfaced as to what the fate of the manga title "Hunter x Hunter" will be after it went on a hiatus anew some months back. However, it is now said that the manga series will soon return for its chapter 361 as Viz Media has, allegedly, dropped its original creator Yoshihiro Togashi and hired new writers to proceed scribing the story.

According to reports, Viz Media has finally said goodbye to Togashi so that he can focus on his recovery from his recurring back problem, which is the reason why he cannot proceed writing the story of the said manga title.

As the publishing house dropped Togashi, it is also said that Viz Media has acquired the services of new writers to pen the story of "Hunter x Hunter," which will still need the nod of the original writer as Viz Media has, reportedly, assigned Togashi to be the consultant.

However, this is not the first time for "Hunter x Hunter" to be rumored hiring new writers, while Togashi recovers. A few months back, it was also reported that Viz Media hired writers to continue the events on "Hunter x Hunter," but it was said that their work fell short of Togashi's expectations.

It can be recalled that "Hunter x Hunter" only returned last April from its more-than-a-year of hiatus, but fans of the manga title have been left hanging once more after its chapter 360 as Togashi's back pains have returned and gotten worse.

Apart from the rumor saying that the manga series will have a new set of writers, there were also claims that chapter 360 of the "Hunter x Hunter" would be its last, which, of course, alarmed its fans.

However, with no official word from Viz Media and Togashi himself, fans continue to hope and pray that "Hunter x Hunter" will resume to tell its story.
