The iPhone 6 Plus is Apple's first phablet sized device and it is extremely popular but when it comes to customer satisfaction and features the Galaxy Note 4 outscores it competitor.

Design

The iPhone 6 Plus has Apple's standard design elements and comes with an aluminum unibody and beautifully chamfered edges, but in other ways it is much like its smaller sibling the iPhone 6 and so can be difficult to hold and use. As for the Note 4 it is designed to be a phablet and comes with a metal band around its edge but on its back panel there is faux leather which allows users to get a good grip. Finally both devices come with fingerprint sensors but the Note 4 has an S Pen Stylus which is missing on the iPhone 6 Plus.

Display

When it comes to display quality, the Note 4 overwhelms it competitor as its super AMOLED screen measures 5.7 inches, has a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a density of 515 pixels per inch, while the iPhone 6 Plus has an IPS LCD screen measuring 5.5 inches with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a density of 401 pixels per inch.

The Note 4 and the iPhone 6 Plus were both released last year and so they are pretty much equal in terms of hardware. On the iPhone 6 Plus is an Apple A8 chipset, coupled with a CPU with two cores clocked at 1.4 GHz and a PowerVR GX6450 GPU while the Note 4 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset, a Krait 450 CPU with four cores clocked at 2.7 GHz and an Adreno 420 GPU.

The iPhone 6 Plus like other devices from Apple does not have a memory slot and so external storage cannot be added while the Note 4 has a slot which can be used to add up to 128 GB of external storage. As for RAM, the Note 4 is much more powerful and comes with 3 GB while the iPhone 6 Plus has 1 GB.

The 8 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization on the iPhone 6 Plus performs well next to the 16 megapixel camera on the Note 4 which also has optical image stabilization.
