Kate Middleton pregnant with her third child? royal couple not attending 2016 Rio Olympics?

(REUTERS/LUKE MACGREGOR)Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, is rumored to be expecting her third child.

Prince William and Kate Middleton already have two children: Prince George and Princess Charlotte. However, a new report claims that the Duchess of Cambridge is four months along in her third pregnancy.

Sources of Life & Style have claimed that the royal couple is expecting their third child this Christmas. "It's official! She is due on Christmas. Kate and William are overjoyed," the source said. Additionally, they are not particularly leaning toward a specific sex since "they already have one of each." The source continued to say that the couple are only hoping that the baby is born healthy.

Other reports state that the Duchess of Cambridge will refrain from traveling to the Rio Olympics in Brazil this year because of the Zika virus. According to the publication, there is some fear that Prince William's loving wife might contract the virus because she is currently pregnant. If she is not pregnant, not attending the Olympics to cheer on the British team could mean that the couple is in the planning stage of another child, the report claims.

On the other end of the spectrum, other publications claim that there is no truth whatsoever to the pregnancy rumors involving the Duchess. Since the royal mother has been through two pregnancies already, the next one should be more visible, the publication states. This means that a baby bump should be more noticeable than previous ones. And given that the Duchess of Cambridge did not look like she was sporting a bump when she was seen out in public last month, the rumor may not be true.

All these pregnancy rumors have been widespread ever since Life & Style broke out with the apparently exclusive story. Kensington Palace has not yet spoken out to confirm or deny the rumors, though. But since these are mere reports, readers should take this news with a grain of salt.
