(Facebook/Boruto: Naruto the Movie)The Boruto arc for "Naruto Shippuden" is speculated to premiere sometime in 2017.

Now that the main storyline of "Naruto Shippuden" has concluded, fans are highly anticipating the arrival of some of their favorite "Naruto" franchise manga arcs. Recent speculations suggest that one of the most requested arcs that includes Boruto's story is coming to TV screens in 2017. Boruto is the son of Naruto.

The speculations were ignited when Otaku Vines reported that it was revealed in the 50th Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine that a Boruto X Naruto stage will be set up during the Jump Festa next year. Jump Festa is an annual event organized by Shueisha that features a number of manga and anime series. It is usually held in Tokyo in the month of December.

According to the same report, the Boruto X Naruto stage will feature the "Naruto" mastermind and manga artist, Masashi Kishimoto, alongside the "Naruto" voice actors for Boruto, Naruto, Sarada and Mitsuki.

This report makes it highly possible that the creators are building up the excitement for the introduction of Boruto's arc in the anime scene.

Otaku Vines said nothing specific about the plans for Boruto's arc, but it is still good news that there are some developments being made since many fans hope to see Boruto's adventure come to life in the TV screen.

According to iTechPost, it is highly possible that the Boruto anime arc will premiere by the winter of 2017. The efforts to extend the series is undeniably extensive, which makes it even more possible for the Boruto arc to happen since fans have been asking for it.

The main arc of "Naruto Shippuden" aired last Oct. 13, and since then, the makers of the anime series have been creating filler episodes. "Naruto Shippuden" ended on a good note and featured the reconciliation of best friends Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura in episode 479.

It was followed by four episodes known as the Boyhood arc that featured snippets of the childhood of some important characters such as Naruto and Hinata, Sasuke and Sakura, Shikamaru and Gaara, and Kakashi and Jiraiya.

Today, Dec. 1, "Naruto Shippuden" is expected to continue airing with another arc focusing on Sasuke's journey of atonement.
