Earlier this week, it was announced that "One Piece" would have its 797^th chapter published on Weekly Shonen Jump one week delayed.

Because it would take seven more days before the saga continues, followers of the manga have taken their predictions to several forums online. And to say that their guesses are interesting is definitely an understatement.

"One Piece," which first debuted almost 20 years ago in 1997, is a Japanese manga series developed by Eiichiro Oda. It follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a normal guy who gains the power of rubber after consuming a Devil Fruit. Together with a crew of pirates called "Straw Hat Pirates," Luffy sails through the vast ocean in search for "One Piece," which would make him the next Pirate King.

The upcoming chapter, 797, follows 796 entitled "Soldier-san's Determination" which was published on Aug. 10, 2015. In the recently published chapter, Luffy hears word that the Marines are finally coming to arrest him and his crew. While their allies have already prepared a way for them to escape, Luffy is hesitant to leave.

On opforum.net, fans have chimed in and speculated on what will happen on the saga in chapter 797. According to YuYangz, who has been a member of the forum since 2013, Luffy would be able to escape with no problem, saying "Nothing will be harming Luffy then, their escape will be a great success (like how Luffy crew escape from Garp's ultimate giant cannonball). Fujitora is just 'testing' their luck again if they still manage to escape from his full forces, he 'acknowledges' them."

While another member of the forum, Cobyforadmiral, agreed, he speculated that Luffy would be dragged out into safety unwillingly.

"I think it will be luffy thanking king riku and everyone else who was with the king. The final scenes will be of him running from a semi - unwilling fujitora or possibly sengoku who doesn't care to fight luffy because of his friendship with garp/history with luffys family."

"One Piece Chapter 797" would be available next week, Aug. 24, 2015, on Weekly Shonen Jump.
