After the long anticipation and excitement, the latest in the rumor mill is that "One Punch Man" season 2 may finally be released this month.

According to reports, there is a possibility for the anime series' second season to be released globally once its English-dubbed season 1 version ends airing on Toonami. After all, "One Punch Man" director Yusuke Murata has been teasing the development of the anime's season 2 for the past couple of months already, which means, it is not really surprising if "One Punch Man 2" is released this month.

Fans have long anticipated the arrival of "One Punch Man" season 2 as many are disappointed with the English-dubbed version of the anime's first season on Toonami. Reportedly, some non-Japanese speaking fans even prefer to watch the original series with English subtitles over the English-dubbed version as something doesn't just feel right watching it.

Meanwhile, apart from the possible release of "One Punch Man" season 2 this month, there are also rumors and speculations as to what the upcoming season may offer. One thing that spikes the curiosity of the fans is the rumor saying that Saitama will lose all his powers in the upcoming season, making him vulnerable to the attacks of the villains. Allegedly, Saitama will lose his powers for still unknown reasons during his fight with Amai, resulting to the latter's becoming the victor in the match.

There are also rumors claiming that Saitama's longtime apprentice Genos will leave him in the upcoming season after the souring of their relationship.

Nonetheless, things will not be all that bad for Saitama as it was also rumored earlier that it is possible for "One Punch Man" season 2 to feature the protagonist having a love life. However, his romantic department may just be as complicated as his superhero life as, allegedly, he will find himself in a love triangle.

At this point in time, though, there is still no official word on the release of "One Punch Man" season 2 this month. However, in the event that the reports are true, there is no denying that it will be another entertainment-packed season, much more if the above rumored events turn out to be valid.
