New images have surfaced online depicting the OnePlus One smartphone running on its Chinese manufacturer's new in-house Oxygen OS and revealing an interesting user interface (UI). The latest image leaks reveal that the Oxygen OS UI integrates elements of Google's Android Lollipop, but remains flat and simple.

Users of the "flagship killer" OnePlus One running Cyanogen OS have been worried about the consequences of the fallout between the Chinese startup smartphone manufacturer and Cyanogen late last year. Following its break-up with Cyanogen, OnePlus has been developing its own custom Android ROM, called Oxygen OS, which is designed to give almost a stock Android like experience, similar to that on the Nexus 6.

The company had recently announced that it would be releasing its new Oxygen OS for the OnePlus One before March 27. Apart from its own version of Android for the OnePlus One, the company also plans to release a new version of CyanogenMod (CyanogenMod 12s) for the OnePlus One by March 30. It is also believed that OnePlus will soon come out with a successor to OnePlus One, called OnePlus Two, which will be driven by the company's in-house Oxygen OS.

Oxygen OS is likely to come pre-loaded in the new OnePlus Two handsets, while users of OnePlus One will have to manually load the OS update onto their devices, as the software will not be available via OTA.

Meanwhile, OnePlus has released a teaser about the imminent launch of its all-new "game-changing" product. The company has posted three images on its website, each referring to gaming. The first image says, "Start a new game," with a glowing, red dot shown in the center. The second image shows a hand-drawn number one and reads, "For the fun of it," while the third and last image states, "You're in control," showing a pair of hands mimicking the position of holding a video game controller.

According to OnePlus, the new product will be "coming in April" and the company has clarified that "it's not a tablet, and it's not a smartwatch. But it is a game changer." The images suggest that OnePlus is getting ready to launch a gaming device, which could be an Android-based game console, or just a controller for playing Android games on a smartphone or tablet.
