"Orphan Black" recently concluded its third season which revealed that Sarah and Mrs. S are related and saw a bleeding Delphine left in a parking lot, as well as a very dead Paul. The riveting finale tied up some loose ends but also left some questions (is Delphine really dead?) and an impending threat — the neolutionists.

Lead star, Tatiana Maslany, who recently scored an Emmy nomination, made an appearance at Comic-Con alongside the show's cast and crew to tease fans about the upcoming season four. While the crew failed to divulge details of Delphine's death, they did point out that Paul was gone for good, reports TVLine.

Fret not, while Sarah's one love interest died, another may make a comeback next season. Cal, Sarah's lover and the father of her child, Kira, may return in season four. "Cal's not gone, he's just on Iceland", teased executive producer Graeme Manson, hinting at his arrival.

Last fans saw of the character, he was dwelling in Iceland with his daughter in order to keep her safe from the Castor clones.

Add to that, Manson also agreed that Sarah deserves a little romance in the upcoming season. Will she rekindle her flame with Cal? Felix is also another major character who has been devoid of romance for the whole of season three. Luckily, actor Jordan Gavaris, who plays his character, agreed that the homosexual brother of Sarah deserves some loving too.

However, the cast was not able to provide many spoilers since season four is still in the early stages of filming. But co-creator, John Fawcett, was able to specify that season four would be a reset of the show and go back to its season one roots.

"We want Season 4 to have a little bit of a feel of Season 1 again," he added. Maslany also confirmed the same in an interview with TVLine. When asked about season four being similar to see one, Maslany replied, "Absolutely. That's the season that I fell in love with the show. That first episode was so thrilling to me and captivating when I read it. So I would love to go back to that and the pure roots of the show."

Season four of "Orphan Black" premieres in 2016.
