'Outlander' season 2 news: Lionel Lingelser to play King Louis XV

While fans of "Outlander" await for Jamie and Claire's return, the viewers should ready themselves for another face to look out for in season two.
Master Herald previously announced that actor, Lionel Lingelser, will take on the role of King Louis XV. The report has also stated that the news ran with fans quite positively, with some even saying that the addition of the actor fits perfectly in depicting the former King of France.
It has been a quick change for the team since the end of season one. The next season finds them leaving Scotland for a more sophisticated France.
Caitriona Balfe, who plays Claire Randall on the show, even shed some light on the changes the show has gone through going into the second season. She said:
"We felt a little bit of discomfort in the transition, because we were so used to playing in this gritty Scottish mud, everything was very muted with the wools. Now all of a sudden we're in these luxurious apartments and grand houses."
IB times has also reported that there will also be a change for protagonist, Jamie Fraser, played by Sam Heughan, as he will become a dashing entrepreneur in the second season while still dealing with the events of the previous season, which saw him being tortured and raped in Wentworth Prison.
Heughan even told fans at Comic-Con about the new priorities of his character since the revelation of Claire's pregnancy and said, "Season 2 is completely different, he's got the hangover of the trauma of season 1, and also the responsibility of having a wife, of being a father, of becoming a parent."
The couple is bound for France to revert history by stopping the Battle of Culloden.
"Outlander" season two contains 13 episodes and is set to be released in 2016.
