'Pokemon Sun and Moon' news: new game to open Nintendo's E3 presentation

(Pokemon.com)Pokemon "Sun and Moon" is said to be released in November this year.

A "Pokemon Special" will be held at next week's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), and it is expected that "Pokemon Sun and Moon" will open Nintendo's presentation in the said event.

According to Kotaku, gamers can look forward to a live-streaming gameplay of "Pokemon Sun and Moon" beginning at 9 a.m. pacific time on June 14. The following day, June 15, a "Pokemon Go" question-and-answer will transpire beginning at 10 a.m. pacific time. Finally, on June 16, a Pokemon special will happen beginning at 7 a.m. pacific time.

Meanwhile, the trailer for the upcoming "Pokemon Sun and Moon" was already released last week, and a Japanese YouTube channel uploaded additional clips of the said game. According to  Polygon, the additional clips gave the fans to familiarize themselves with the game's new characters.

Apart from the new characters, the trailer also reveals the tweaked look of "Sun and Moon" main characters Solgaleo and Lunala, respectively. In one of the scenes in the uploaded YouTube trailer, Lunala can be seen facing off against a Gengar, a psychic that can be a force to be reckoned with in the game.

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" is said to be loosely based on "Pokemon X and Y," which was released back in 2013. The said game will be released globally and be available in different languages, including English, Spanish, Italian, and even simple Chinese.

Those looking forward to laying their hands on "Pokemon Sun and Moon" won't really need to wait that long as Nintendo has already announced that the seventh generation of the "Pokemon" games will be released in Japan and North America on Nov 18. On the other hand, European gamers can avail of the game on Nov. 23.

Pokemon fans can now pre-order the game on Amazon or Game, which roughly costs $56.
