'Rizzoli & Isles' season 7 spoilers: An important evidence for a murder trial is stolen in episode 9

(Rizzoli & Isles / Facebook)"Rizzoli & Isles" season 7 airs Monday nights on TNT.

An important evidence has been stolen in the upcoming episode 9, titled "65 Hours," of the seventh season of the American crime and police procedural drama "Rizzoli & Isles."

One morning, Jane (Angie Harmon) is scheduled to testify for a murder trial case. However, as she gathers her things, she learns that the key piece of evidence that needs to be presented in the court has been stolen. Meanwhile, Frankie (Jordan Bridges) tries to study a couple of magic tricks just to capture Nina's (Idara Victor) attention.

The promo trailer for "65 Hours" shows Jane in panic as she discovers that the key piece of evidence went missing. She tells Vince (Bruce McGill) that they will not leave the premises of the storage where the evidence was placed until they find something. Vince says that someone destroyed evidence that could convict a double murderer.

Maura (Sasha Alexander), on the other hand, tells Jane about the difficulty of proving pieces of evidence that they just found at some place just because they cannot find what they are looking for. Jane realizes that they have no murder weapon and no motive to continue the case. Thus, it is possible that the case will be dismissed.

In other news, Rizzoli shared her experience as the director for the previous episode, titled "2M7258-100," which happened to be the series' 100th episode as well. She revealed on TV Guide that she was supposed to start directing in season 2, but was unable to do so due to her busy schedule. Now that she finally did her magic behind the camera, she admitted that she felt a bit nervous because it was the 100th episode.

The actress also teased, "I can't speak for other people, but I know I am pleased with where Jane goes and who she has become [by the finale]. I'm totally happy with it."

"Rizzoli & Isles" season 7 airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on TNT.
