The upcoming season of "Sense8" may get more interesting for viewers of the series as a new set photo teases that the sensates will team up to help Sun.

In the photo posted on Instagram, Sun (Doona Bae) is being interrogated by authorities. A photo of a man has been placed in front of her. The most interesting part of the image is the presence of all the other sensates behind her, save for Riley (Tuppence Middleton).

The seven sensates appear to be rallying together as Sun is being questioned. It has yet to be revealed why she ended up in jail, but it's interesting to find out why everyone, except for Riley, are helping Sun out this time.

In particular, Wolfgang (Max Riemelt) looks like he's ready to strike when needed. Everyone else looks worried while Nomi (Jamie Clayton) appears to be giving some bits of advice to Sun. The others are standing behind her as she listens to the interrogator.

The photo also reveals that the image has been shot while filming the "Sense8" season 2 Christmas special. The Christmas episode will be a 2-hour special that will be aired on Dec. 23.

Meanwhile, Variety confirmed earlier this month that Netflix has given "Sense8" season 2 an official release date. According to the outlet, the new episodes will start airing May 5. There will be 10 episodes in the upcoming installment and most likely, the episodes may be downloaded at around 12:01 AM PT.

One of the outlet's critics said after season 1, "The main problem, simply, is that the show doesn't make much sense." On the other hand, "Sense8" has gained a solid fan base after its first season run and it seems that more fans are supporting the upcoming installment.

For now, fans can only wait and see if "Sense8" season 2 will make sense for critics. Lilly Wachowski has taken a break and Lana has been left to take care of everything while her sister is away. However, fans are hoping that the upcoming installment will still be a hit.
