"Sense8" season 2's release date has not been announced yet but fans should be excited as stars of the Netflix series are currently busy with filming.

As reported by Christian Times, the cast members have been to different countries to film the new episodes for the second season. The reason why the actors had to travel to shoot the episodes is because the story is centered on strangers from different continents who are able to communicate with each other emotionally and mentally.

Season 2 will also reportedly feature the love story of Kala (Tina Desai). As stated in the report from Buzzfeed, there may be a love triangle brewing and it will involve Kala, her real love and ex Wolfgang (Max Riemelt) and her fiancé Rajan (Purab Kohli).

It can be recalled that Kala was forced to fulfill her duties to her family by agreeing to a pre-arranged marriage with Rajan, despite her feelings for Wolfgang. In the end, she chose to accept the arrangement with Rajan and eventually, she started to accept him. This suggests that Kala has moved on from Wolfgang but the love triangle will still be explored in the second season after it was revealed that Kala was actually a brilliant pharmacist.

Desai tallked about Kala's love story saying, "There's also the love story that continues with both boys — but there's a lot more of her brain and the person she's been brought up to be."

Meanwhile, all eyes are also on actor Sikander Kher, who was made a part of the cast of season 2. Although Kher will only have a small role, he still considers it important. "I was approached for the show a few months back. It's a small but an important role, and it takes the story ahead," the actor said. As of the moment, there is no information about this role but speculation is rife that Kher will play the villain.

"Sense8" season 2 is expected to air before this year ends.
