'South Park' season 20 to come up with its own version of 'Free the Nipple'

(Facebook/South Park)"South Park" returns for its 20th season this September.

After 2 decades, "South Park" remains to be a formidable part of television viewing as the popular adult animated series on Comedy Central is coming back for its season 20.

Despite being inappropriate for children, the animated comedy managed to survive and be on TV for 20 years — thanks to its loyal fan base. And from the looks of it, things can only get funnier and exciting for the fans of the show as "South Park" season 20 was teased at last week's San Diego Comic-Con.

At the said event, "South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone revealed that the viewers of the show cannot expect to see another "Pokemon"-inspired episode, despite the popularity of the characters due to its phenomenal "Pokemon GO"  game. According to the two, "South Park" has already tackled the characters in its third season via the episode titled "Chinpokomon."

However, fans can look forward to another exciting season as "South Park" season 20 may feature its own version of "Free the Nipple," a gender equality campaign based on Lina Esco's 2014 movie with the same title.

"Yes. We weren't, and now we are. The entire next season will be Free the Nipple season," Parker said at the "South Park" panel at the San Diego Comic-Con.

Apart from doing the "Free the Nipple" episode, it is also possible for "South Park" season 20 to kill off Kenny once more.

"We might kill Kenny some this season. We kinda stopped doing that. It was fun and it was awesome and it was rebellious at first. ... And then it got to be like homework. But we could do that again," revealed Stone.

It has also been revealed during the San Diego Comic-Con that PC Principal is coming back to the show beginning its 20th season and will take on the job of being the principal of South Park Elementary, presumably, for the rest of the season.

"It wasn't until we were making the first show that we thought we'd keep him around," Parker shared.
