Mike (Patrick J. Adams) and Harvey's (Gabriel Macht) friendship will continue to become stronger amidst everything that happened in the sixth season of "Suits."

When his firm got dragged into Mike's fraud case, Harvey was one of the few people who did not shun the other man. He cared for the prodigy as much as he cherished Pearson Specter Litt. Although he did not fully understand why Mike had to lie about his background, Harvey set aside his questions and focused on keeping him out of jail. He never saw a plea bargain deal coming though but he understood that Mike only did that to save him and the firm.

The prosecutors had been looking at Harvey and the rest of the team as accomplices to Mike's crime. It was only a matter of time until they came up with something incriminatory to bring down the entire firm. Mike decided to accept the plea bargain agreement being offered and admitted to everything just to keep the company's possible collapse from happening. As a result, he would have to spend a couple of years in jail. Although the scenario coming into season 6 is not exactly encouraging, Macht told Wetpaint that would not always be the case.

"Maybe we'll see these people smiling a little bit more or we'll see some more witty banter and more playful elements of the show. I think there will be more of a balance and a playful nature when we come back [for Season 6]," the actor shared.

Meanwhile, there will still be a lot of work to do before the main characters can breathe easy again. In the promo for the upcoming installment, Jessica (Gina Torres) and Louis (Rick Hoffman) are shown walking into Pearson Specter Litt to find it empty. All their associates have decided to leave the firm and look for new jobs. They all believe that the firm is finished because of Mike's case. It looks like only the founding lawyers will be there to pick up the pieces and rebuild Pearson Specter Litt.

"Suits" season 6 is expected to air summer of 2016.
