"Teen Wolf" is another show in the league of supernatural TV series that has carved out a niche of its own. With a loyal fan-following looking forward to a season five, the show is set to provide a multitude of plot twists and surprises.

Texas teenager Michael Lynch has been cast as the show's new supernatural creature, reports Yibada. He will be portraying a new supernatural creature called Sluagh (pronounced sloo-ah) which is an Irish and Scottish mythological creature that eats the souls of innocent people. The eerie creature can also place parts of its rotten soul inside the bodies of its sleeping victims. This specific creature was chosen because MTV held a contest, sponsored by AT&T that asked fans to design a supernatural creature for season five of "Teen Wolf". The winner was Jessica Short.

KpopStarz reveals that the Texan teen's character was shot extensively at Eichen House, hence he is one of the myriad creatures lurking inside the underbelly of the special ward harboring supernatural creatures. Lynch was chosen through the Make-A-Wish foundation where he wished to be an extra on the show, but rather fortunately, landed a role.

Other new characters are also added in the mix of existing supernatural creatures at Beacon Hills. This includes Liam's new love interest played by actress Victoria Morales which was confirmed by star Dylan Sprayberry and Theo played by actor Cody Christian. The "Pretty Little Liars" actor arrives in Beacon Hills in search for a pack while Victoria's character is in the same grade as Liam and his best friend, Mason.

Previous spoilers of the hit show reveal that season five will explore the story of the Desert Wolf and Lydia will help deputy Parish figure out who he really is. Actor Tyler Hoechlin, who plays Derek, will be absent in season five. The show premieres in June.
