'Teen Wolf' season 6 spoilers, news: episode 6 introduces Canaan, the ghost town

(Facebook/TeenWolf)Peter's charred body has brought back the keys to Stiles' car. However, the pack will have to press on to Canaan to discover more about the Wild Hunt.

Following the tragic final scenes of "Teen Wolf" season 6 episode 5, the pack is in for a greater challenge as they are introduced to Canaan - a ghost town that Stiles told them to find.

In episode 5, Peter (Ian Bohen) gets back to Beacon Hills but it is unclear if he lives on or dies. Along with Stiles (Dylan O'Brien), he discovered from another forgotten town resident that if they want to escape, they would have to go through the same portal the Ghost Riders ride in and out of.

Peter rides one of the horses and finds himself burned up. He howls and Malia (Shelley Hennig) recognizes her father's voice. Scott (Tyler Posey) and Malia then rush into the woods and they try to help Peter, who is severely burnt.

Peter brought with him a gift for the pack: the keys to Stiles' car.

This is where Lydia (Holland Roden) receives a call from Stiles and he tells them to go to Canaan. It seems that the previous episode of "Teen Wolf" season 6 has opened bigger doors for Scott and the others to track down Stiles and the other "forgotten" townspeople.

A promo for "Teen Wolf" season 6 episode 6 reveals that Lydia and the others will travel to Canaan. They soon discover that it is a ghost town but they will still push through. In one of the abandoned houses, they find a strange woman who later shrieks as they all sit with her at her kitchen table.

It has yet to be revealed why the woman lives in a ghost town that Stiles may have a connection with. It is speculated that "Teen Wolf" season 6 episode 6 will draw the pack closer to Stiles. However, they still need to unlock the mystery of Canaan.

"Teen Wolf" season 6 episode 6 titled "Ghosted" airs Dec. 20 on MTV.
