Sometimes, the romantic partners of the "Teen Moms 2" cast share the spotlight as much as the teen moms themselves. And this week, an ex-husband of one of the teen moms definitely had more share of the spotlight when his name was dragged into an arrest.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Courtland Rogers was arrested Friday at Brunswick County, North Carolina. The charge was for his alleged failure to appear in court proceedings involving possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia plus habitual felony. Rogers even posted on Facebook a photo of himself on what looks like a police car. He captioned it, "I have to go away for awhile due to my past."

Rogers is the ex-husband of "Teen Mom 2" cast member Jenelle Evans. The two were married in December 2012 but split four months later in April. The couple had once been slapped with charges of possession of heroin shortly before they separated. At the same time of the arrest, they were also involved in assault charges. The reality star pleaded guilty to that and had all charges dropped. Another four months later, though, Evans was detained for 48 hours after failing a drug test. There have been no arrest for the "Teen Mom 2" star since then.

Rogers and Evans' relationship had been short-lived and was plauged with domestic violence. They don't have a child together (Evans' two kids are from other relationships; Rogers also has a daughter of his own). Evans reportedly got pregnant in 2013 but later on said she suffered a miscarriage. She admitted in season 5 of the MTV reality show that she aborted the pregnancy.

Evans entered "Teen Mom 2" with son Jace, whose father was already out of the picture when the show started. She later had son Kaiser with Nathan Griffin, whom she dated after Rogers. She broke things off with Griffith earlier this year.

More news on the "Teen Moms 2" cast and a possible season 7 soon as they become available.
