Given the poor box-office performance of "The Expendables 3," many are skeptical about a follow-up movie. However, the film's fate can have a new twist with Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's intention of becoming the villain of the movie.

His statement came as an answer to a fan's query if he would love to be part of "The Expendables 4" cast. Johnson replied candidly by saying that he doesn't want to be in Sylvester Stallone's team. Rather, he declared that he would love to "hunt every single one of them down and tell them to 'send your soul to heaven cause your ass is mine.'"

Johnson's declaration should give Stallone a hint not only as to who to include in the sequel, but also how to write Johnson's character in the story. Fans are already excited about how the story will go if there will be a fourth installment for the film.

Meanwhile, Jason Statham, who played Lee Christmas, also expressed his enthusiasm to be part of the film should there be an "Expendables 4." He said that he considers it a great honor to be directed by and working side by side with Sylvester Stallone. He even added that Stallone can have as many "Expendables" movies as he likes and he would gladly be a part of any one of them.

Another actor that has been rumored lately to become part of the team is John Cusack. He is said to be the latest addition to the rumored growing cast of "Expendables 4" where some of the names include Hulk Hogan and Pierce Brosnan.

There were earlier rumors that Brosnan might be taking over the "Expendables" helm from Stallone after the latter was nominated for an Oscar for the movie "Creed." Since Stallone did not bag the Oscar, it is apparent that he will be back to do the next "Expendables" film.
