Marvel has certainly cemented its place in the world of film. While their recent feature, "Fantastic Four," failed to impress, there is no denying that the upcoming movies, the comic book company agreed to participate in, are impressive. Among the most highly anticipated, however, is "Thor 3."

"Thor 3," also known as, "Thor: Ragnarok," will be out to pave the way for the "Avengers: Infinity War." In addition, the upcoming film is poised to serve a very significant role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While most details are still kept under wraps, Kevin Feige has since confirmed that Kenneth Branagh would no longer be attached to the franchise. Feige has announced that the new director would be revealed very soon.

Still, teasers have not stopped surfacing and while they are not full on teasers, the information currently available, come from the cast themselves, which only fuel the anticipation for the feature.

In an interview with Los Angeles Times for her new TV Series — "Blindspot," actress, Jaimie Alexander, hinted that her role as Lady Sif would be pivotal to the upcoming movie's plot. She shared:

"There's just all kind of Easter eggs and hints, if you're really paying attention. They're so good at interweaving everything throughout those films. Marvel, I think on purpose, they don't tell me certain things. Because they know I'll be like, 'So here's what's gonna happen.' But I do know that I will be in Thor 3 and that Sif will have a very pivotal part in that movie. I just can't tell you what because I'll get shot."

There are also speculations that Thor might die in the movie and Jane Foster will take over his powers or Thor might simply give his powers up and pass them on to Jane.

"Thor: Ragnarok" is said to be released in theaters on Nov. 3, 2017.
