Ken and Arim's deadly battle will come to a close in the upcoming season of "Tokyo Ghoul," with one of them permanently saying goodbye. According to rumors, it will be Ken who will die.

There have been a lot of speculations about what will come next for the popular Japanese anime. At the moment, the series creators have not announced anything about season 3. The fans have no option but to wait for new updates, especially when the new chapters will be released.

"Tokyo Ghoul" first aired in 2014 and it quickly acquired plenty of followers. The story revolves around Ken Kaneki, who met a woman named Rize Kamishiro. Unbeknownst to him, she was a ghoul who ate human flesh to survive. When Rize tried to attack Ken, he lived but has not been the same since then. After the operation, he discovered that some of Rize's organs were transplanted to him, making him half a ghoul.

As Ken continues to adjust to his new existence, he has faced a lot of enemies. One of the most recent ones is Arim and he is proving to be too tough to beat. According to rumors, Ken and Arim's fight will end in death. One of them is said to die and the signs point out to Ken. If he will indeed perish, the anime will have a new protagonist. Other speculations claim that after defeating Arim, Ken will be facing a brand-new villain. The foe will allegedly have a huge effect on Ken's composure. The half-ghoul is said to be in danger of losing his mind.

Meanwhile, fans are overjoyed that the manga will be getting a live action version. As for the anime's season 3,  the storyline will likely follow the events in the manga. Many fans have reportedly expressed their dissatisfaction in the past season that the creators plan to stick as close to the original plot this time around.
