True Blood faithful were excited for Sunday's Episode 1 of True Blood Season 7, which will be the final season of their favorite vampire drama series from Charlaine Harris' The Southern Vampire Mysteries novels.

"A Farewell To Bon Temps" video was aired the previous Sunday a week earlier on HBO to celebrate True Blood Season 7.

Season 6 had put Sam Merlotte (played by Sam Trammel) as Bon Temps' mayor.

While Merlotte is already a public figure as the owner of Merlotte's Bar and Grill, becoming a mayor gives him a different new exposure.

In his latest interview with Zap2pit, Trammel talked about his role in the final season as well as some True Blood Season 7 spoilers.

His role is interesting as Sam is more of a leader than a mayor. As a private person, he has been hiding his identity, Trammel shared.

The actor also expressed his excitement about the storyline between Pam and Eric, and how it will conclude in the final season.

Trammel said he has not read the entire script but he is likewise thrilled to see what will happen to Bill and Sookie.

Alan Ball, film creator and Brian Buckner, the true runner met with the cast to talk about the previous seasons and share their respective experiences with the drama series.

Buckner hinted the final season will have "zombie vampires" as its big part. They are weaker, need to take a lot of human blood more frequently, more organized and keeping their mental capacity.

The second episode of True Blood Season 7, "I Found You" will reveal a pretty young French woman, named Sylvie, who will be Eric's potential love interest.

Buckner also mentioned the death of Warlow, who sought vengeance for Nora's death. He still has the pain and wants to remove it. He retreated and came back home.

Entertainment Weekly reveals some additional True Blood Season 7 spoilers – humans revolting against the vampires, people taken by H-vamps in Fangtasia basement, Pam unwinding in Morocco, Sookie discovering a H-vamp - ransacked town, and James (Jessica's boyfriend) is not himself, as Nathan Parsons replaces Luke Grimes.

Ginger (played by Tara Buck) will have a big role in the season.
