When it rains, it pours. And boy, is it pouring troubles for "Switched at Birth" season four. After rumors of an unwanted pregnancy and more family troubles for Kennish mama bear and papa bear Kathryn (Lea Thompson) and John (D.W. Moffett), new speculations regarding the upcoming season suggest these troubles will be too much for the married couple to handle and cause them to divorce.

Previous spoiler hints on financial troubles in the Kennish family and despite efforts to rise above these troubles, Kathryn and John will experience a strain in their relationship. News site, Yibada, even goes as much to predict that the marriage might be headed for a divorce.

This will be most especially difficult for Thompson's character as aside from facing family problems, she will also be dealing with personal ones, as well. In addition, there are also many speculations that her adopted daughter Bay (Vanessa Marano) may be pregnant with Tank's child. If this turns out to be true, then that means Bay may need Kathryn's support more than ever in the new season.

Meanwhile, Marano said that "Switched at Birth" has taken up most of her time these past months and so, unlike her character in the teen drama, she has not had the time to go out on dates. She added that Friday nights are mostly reserved for shooting and if she does date, she will not be going out with a fellow actor.

She pointed out that having a fellow actor for a boyfriend only causes strain in a relationship, especially when competition kicks in. In fact, in a previous interview, she revealed that her mom even warned her that actors are "crazy."

"Switched at Birth" is a teen drama that revolves around Bay and Daphne Vasquez (Katie Leclerc), who grew up in different environments and later found out that they were—as the title suggests—switched at birth.

The series explores how the two teenagers' families cope with this discovery.

"Switched at Birth" returns in a little over a month for its mid-season premiere on Aug. 24, 2015.
