Annalise's (Viola Davis) new boss at the university may become her biggest nemesis in the upcoming season of "How to Get Away with Murder."

Recently, it has been announced that "Dexter" alum Luna Vélez will play the role of the new Middleton University president. She will come in contact with Annalise, who is a professor there. Although Vélez' character still does not have a name, she is described as "self-assured, friendly, warm and diplomatic" (as per TV Line). It looks like she will be the perfect boss, at least to those who do not have secrets to hide.

For Annalise, her new superior may prove to be too affable for comfort. Being sweet may even be a ploy for her, as she waits for the best time to pounce and take down her prey.

Season 3 of the ABC series is currently in production. The cast members have been updating fans with behind-the-scenes photos via their social media accounts. Although everyone looks happy on set, the atmosphere of the premiere in September will be anything but pleasant. Annalise is going after Frank (Charlie Weber), the man responsible for the death of her baby.

Executive producer Pete Nowalk previously told Entertainment Weekly that Annalise meant for Bonnie (Liza Weil) to kill the fugitive.

"The line is deliberately written to mean what you want it to mean. This is a huge betrayal. Annalise is finding out that Frank killed her baby. As far as we know, Annalise has never killed anyone, so when she says Frank needs to go, it's deep and dark," Nowalk said.

Between her new boss and the hunt for Frank, Annalise will certainly be busy with a lot of things in the upcoming installment. There is also the matter with Wes (Alfred Enoch). He knows that Annalise has been keeping secrets from him. Since the person whom he thought would shed light to his past was murdered, Wes is expected to approach Annalise and ask her, once and for all, to come clean.

"How to Get Away with Murder" season 3 will premiere on Thursday, September 22 at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
