With several rumors claiming that Apple is set to roll out a few devices this fall, it is believed that one of the gadgets that the company will unveil is its iPad Mini 5. While it remains uncertain if the device will, indeed, be released in September, there are already various speculations on what its features and specifications will be.

According to reports, the upcoming iPad Mini 5 will be equipped with better power management as it will have the A9 processor. Should this be the case, there is no denying that the upcoming device will really be an improvement of its predecessor as the current iPad Mini 4 only runs on an A8 processor with 5,124 mAh battery.

Speaking of battery, it is also alleged that the iPad Mini 5 will come in a much smaller battery that makes the gadget look relatively thinner than its current version. Reportedly, the iPad Mini 5 will only be 5 mm thin.

There are also reports claiming that some features of the current iPhone 6 have been incorporated into the iPad Mini 5, such as the 3D touchscreen. Just like the upcoming iPhone 7, the tablet is also believed not to come with an earphone jack and may require a wireless headphone.

Other sources claim that the iPad Mini 5 will boast of an 8-megapixel main camera and a 1.2-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. Additionally, sources say that there is a likelihood that the upcoming mini tablet from Apple will run on iOS 10.

In terms of internal storage capacity, it is also rumored that the iPad Mini 5 will come in three variants: 32 GB, 64 GB, and 128 GB and will carry a $450, $500, and $600 price tag, respectively.

Tech pundits believe that it is likely for iPad Mini 5 to be released along with the iPad Air 3, and the iPhone 7 in September as the company also unveiled some of its flagship products in the same period last year.

In the event that speculations on the release date of the iPad Mini 5 really happen in the said month, only then can it be confirmed if the said gadget will really come with the features and specifications mentioned earlier.
