The return of the main hero Saitama is still far, but fortunately, there are some spoilers and updates released ahead of time to give fans a sneak peek on what could possibly come next in the series.

According to reports, Saitama may be facing a new villain in the next season in the form of Garou, an evil character known for his hatred for heroes. Wikia detailed that Garou is a former disciple of Bang and a primary antagonist of the "Human Monster Saga." His agenda is to track down the top-ranking heroes of S and A-class. With long and spiky white hair, sharp features, yellow eyes, and muscular built, Garou is going to bring some serious trouble to the hero.

Moreover, spoilers also suggest that when season 2 of "One Punch Man" returns, it's expected that things will continue after the events of the last episode in the first season. Saitama may be facing Lord Boros, the leader of the Dark Matter Thieves. The two will battle, but even though Boros is a powerful foe, spoilers reveal that Saitama will still come out victorious from the squabble.

Christian Today also reported that Saitama will be going toe-to-toe with some of the strongest monsters that are collectively known as the "Monster Association." A villain named Amai Mask may also be challenging Saitama, as noted in MNR Daily.

As of now, details are not official yet so fans will just have to stay tuned and take reports with a pinch of salt. "One Punch Man" season 2 has no release date yet, but it's predicted to air sometime in late 2016, perhaps around November to December. But since the process of creating the anime takes time, there's a possibility that the next season will be delayed to 2017.

International Business Times detailed that creator Yusuke has confirmed that they have already started working on season 2, but they will have to create 100 sketches, 100 inked pages, and 100 storyboards. Editing will take 10 hours per day.
