"Suits" is officially returning with the back half of its sixth season on Jan. 25, the USA Network announced. The premiere episode will see Harvey (Gabriel Macht) and Louis (Rick Hoffman) disagreeing on things, as expected, after the departure of Jessica (Gina Torres).

It can be recalled that the midseason finale saw Jessica Pearson, one-third of the Pearson Specter Litt combo, leave the firm. Fans know that Harvey and Louis' relationship is bumpy at best, so how will things work out now that the two are left to fend for themselves?

"Louis and Harvey are going to have a little bit of a struggle as to what they're going to do moving forward without Jessica, as you would imagine the two of them," executive producer (EP) Aaron Korsh told Deadline. "There's going to be a little conflict over who's running the show and what they're going to do and what direction they're going to take, and we are right now formulating what they're going to do about the name of the firm moving forward."

And in order to resolve their conflicts, Donna (Sarah Rafferty) will be there to save the day. Korsh revealed that the premiere episode will end with Donna getting things straight for the two partners. The EP also teased that someone else will be lending Donna a hand with the issue concerning Harvey and Louis, and that it's going to be a bit of a surprise.

As previously reported, the merger with Robert Zane's (Wendell Pierce) firm will also be heavily featured in the premiere episode of season 6B. It remains to be seen whether the merger will be accepted or if it will have a good effect on both parties. Additionally, Louis' blossoming love life with Tara (Carly Pope) will also be tackled in the back half, especially after the former's wedding proposal. 

"Suits" has already been renewed for a seventh season. The rest of season 6 will premiere on Jan. 25 at 10 p.m. on the USA Network.
