The upcoming episode of "The Big Bang Theory" season 9 is expected to test some relationships.

It was revealed that both Leonard, played by Johnny Galecki, and Howard, played by Simon Helberg, will be seen lying to their wives after a trip to the mall.

Reports revealed that the two men will be off to do errands when they encounter a new advertisement for an upcoming Will Smith movie. In order to buy them some time to watch the movie, Leonard and Howard will lie to both Penny, played by Kaley Cuoco, and Bernadette, played by Melissa Rauch, about where they actually are.

It was stated that Penny and Bernadette will be under the impression that their husbands will be dealing with a flat tire. However, they will realize the truth after an encounter with Raj at the lab. It was stated that Leonard and Howard will give Raj a call asking him if he wanted to join them. However, the husbands will be unaware that their wives will actually be with Raj in the lab.

With that, fans can expect some conflict between the married couples on the episode to come. According to Hollywood Hills, the synopsis for the upcoming episode titled "The Soldier Excursion Diversion," states, "Howard and Leonard are going to lie to their spouses about seeing a movie premiere, while Raj spills the beans about their lie. Sheldon and Amy will end up going shopping for Sheldon's new laptop."

Hints for the upcoming episode state that Sheldon, played by Jim Parsons, will have a hard time letting go of his laptop. It was revealed that Sheldon has had the same laptop since the first season of "The Big Bang Theory." With that, he will be taken aback when Amy surprises him with a new one.
