'Wreck-It Ralph 2' movie confirmed, John C. Reilly will be back as Ralph

Kids and adults alike enjoyed watching the story of villain-turned-good guy, Ralph, in the 2012 animated movie "Wreck-It Ralph." Now, it seems that fans of the old movie will get a sequel pretty soon.
It has been confirmed that "Wreck-It Ralph" will be returning with a sequel. Moreover, "Wreck-It Ralph" voice actor John C. Reilly is already on board for "Wreck-It Ralph 2." This was announced by Irish radio program RTE Arena producer, Penny Hart, in her Twitter account.
Hart tweeted, "John C Reilly announced at the interview today that he has signed on for Wreck it Ralph 2!" The interview was for the Galway Film Fleadh.
This is not the first time that talks of "Wreck-It Ralph 2" surfaced. Shortly after the first movie came out in 2012, talks of a second movie already circulated. Both Reilly and Sarah Silverman, who voiced Vanellope von Schweetz, once said that they were already in talks for the next movie. Even director Rich Moore talked about a sequel and the possibility of introducing new characters in it.
Adults who liked "Wreck-It Ralph" enjoyed it mostly out of nostalgia as numerous classic video game characters made an appearance. There were appearances by "Sonic the Hedgehog's" Doctor Eggman, "Super Mario's" Bowser, and "Pac-Man's" Inky, Pinky, Blinky, and Pac-Man.
For the next movie, Moore says moviegoers will be seeing Nintendo's iconic Super Mario. He revealed that they wanted Mario to be in the first film but just did not know how to incorporate him in the movie. This time, though, they will make sure that Super Mario has a place in the film.
"Wreck-It Ralph" follows the adventures of fictional arcade video game Fix-It Felix, Jr.'s villain, Wreck-It Ralph. Ralph got so tired of being treated as a bad guy, he goes game-hopping in search of a medal.
No word yet on when "Wreck-It Ralph 2" is coming out and whether other voice actors are making a comeback. Stay tuned for updates.
