Maisie Williams is on a roll. "Game of Thrones" may be on a break but the 18-year old actress is not resting. After a stint on "Doctor Who,"it seems that TV's Arya Stark maybe moving on to the big screen on a much-awaited sci-fi monster film sequel.

Guillermo del Toro, director of the sci-fi film "Pacific Rim," went to Twitter and talked about having lunch with Williams. The "GoT" star seems to have made quite an impact as the Mexican director wants her behind a Jaeger and fighting monsters when "Pacific Rim 2" happens.

To be exact, he said in his tweet last Oct. 3, "Had lunch with Maisie Williams yesterday. Remarkable. Dammit- if PR2 happens, that girl is getting a Jaeger."

It seems he is not the only one who wants to make it happen. That particular tweet had been favorited 3,669 times and retweeted 2,350 times. The replies have also been very positive, with one Twitter user desperately saying, "DON'T SAY THESE THINGS AND MAKE US HOPE" (all caps intended). Some have even furthered the idea by suggesting that Williams be paired up with co-"GoT" actress, Sophie Turner.

The "Pacific Rim" sequel has been in the works since last year, with a working title of "Maelstrom." It was initially pegged for Aug. 4, 2017 but has since been put on hold. Director del Torro, however, points out that the movie has not been cancelled and is still very much active. It should be; after all, he reportedly left "Justice League Dark" for the said project

He told IGN, "I still have my producer working on the budget and I still have the writer working on the script."

If the movie does push through, star Charlie Hunnam has some ideas on how to make the sequel better than the first movie. He said, "Pacific Rim 2" has to focus more on storytelling rather than merely the action."

Stay tuned for further updates.
