Apple's 13.3-inch MacBook Air now has a new competitor to deal with in the form of the recently launched Air 13 Pro from Lenovo, and now, it's time to see how the two laptops compare as they vie for superiority within the same airspace.

Starting off with the memory offerings of the two laptops, in terms of RAM, the MacBook Air can provide users with 8GB of it.

As for Lenovo's Air Pro 13, there is a variant of this new laptop that offers 4GB of RAM and higher-end models that can provide as much as 8GB.

When opting to get the 13.3-inch MacBook Air, people can choose from two different versions, with one providing 128GB of PCIe-based flash storage and the higher-end offering capable of giving access to as much as 256GB of PCIe-based flash storage.

Things are a bit different when it comes to the Air Pro 13, as the RAM and internal storage configurations are tied to one another.

For instance, going with the version of the laptop that provides 4GB of RAM means that users will be given access to 256GB of SSD storage, but if they choose to purchase the higher-end model, they will then be able to choose from having either 256GB of SSD storage onboard or pay a little more to have 512GB of SSD storage available to them, as noted over on Lenovo's official website.

Moving on now to processors, people can choose to have either the Intel i5 or i7 processor inside their MacBook Airs, as indicated over on Apple's official web site.

Only the higher-end versions of the Lenovo Air Pro 13 – the ones with 8GB of RAM – will be equipped with Intel's i7 processors. The 4GB variant of the laptop will have Intel's i5 processor.

Lastly, Apple's laptop will be running the OS X El Capitan while Lenovo's newly launched device will have the Windows 10 operating system onboard.
