Apple iPad Air 3 rumors: rumored to launch at their March event next year
Apple's new iteration for their popular line of tablet, the iPad Air 3, has once again been hit by the spotlight in the rumor mill and now, fans speculate that the much awaited and highly rumored tablet is being expected to be made official and unveiled during the Cupertino-based tech giant's event on March of 2016.
According to Mac World UK, circulating rumors on the tech street has suggested that, chances are, Apple might release the new addition to the iPad Air series of tablet, iPad Air 3, on the company's event next year, March 2016. In addition to that rumor, the Cupertino-based manufacturer is also planning to unveil the second generation smartwatch called Apple Watch 2 and the lower range iPhone 6 variant, the iPhone 6c.
The reason behind the rumor, as said on the source, was because Apple did not update their list of iPad Air last September 2015 and could very well be released soon, probably on the company's next event on March 2016.
In terms of specifications, unfortunately, nothing much has been made concrete at this point. So far, according to the report from Mac World, it seems like fans are expecting the new tablet to have a much more improved megapixel camera equipped into it. Moreover, its casing is also going to be buffed up as it will be made with aluminum which will be stronger and durable compared to its predecessor, the iPad Air 2.
As for its premium look, the highly rumored iPad Air 3 is going to be much thinner in size than the previous flagship and it might even come with a rose gold version. Under the hood, sadly, the report only mentioned an A9X chipset and nothing more beyond that.
Needless to say, since the release date is still a few more months ahead, it's best for fans to take these rumors and speculations with a tiny spec of salt until Apple officially confirms the release date of iPad Air 3 and its official specifications.
