Asus ROG GT51 specs: Intel Skylake processor and NVIDIA graphics among the features of gaming desktop; can run three 4K monitors

During the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show, Asus unveiled its latest lineup of Republic of Gamers (ROG) gaming devices. To celebrate its 10th anniversary, ROG released innovative and cutting edge motherboards, desktops, displays, laptops and peripherals.
One of the standout devices in the lineup is the ROG GT51 gaming desktop, winner of the 2016 CES Innovation Award in the Gaming and Virtual Reality category.
The Asus ROG GT51 is powered by the latest sixth generation Intel Core i7-6700K processor. It can also support up to two NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan X graphics cards in SLI. This will allow the GT51 to run games across three 4K monitors. With just one click, gamers can activate numerous overclocking options with the ROG Turbo Gear. The GT51 also comes with the exclusive Aegis II application that allows users to monitor system parameters.
The GT51 gaming desktop also comes with a USB Type-C port on the front panel. With the USB Type-C port, the GT51 attains data transmission speeds of up to 10 Gbps. Mobile devices can also be charged using the port.
In terms of design, the GT51 comes with an aggressive ATX chassis with an "Armor Titanium" and "Plasma Copper" color scheme. The chassis features a transparent side window with customizable lighting of up to 8 million colors.
The Asus GT51 also has an internal cooling system and a dedicated air tunnel to prevent overheating during intense and continuous gaming sessions.
Asus has also given the gaming desktop a unique security measure. The GT51 comes with an ROG Band, a rubber wristband with NFC connectivity. The wristband can activate a Shadow Drive, a hidden partition of hard drive space. Users will be able to safely store files, if the need arises.
The ROG Band can also be used to overclock the GT51 just by waving the wristband at the desktop computer.
To get the full ROG experience, users can also look forward to the release of the ROG Claymore keyboard and the ROG Spatha gaming mouse.
Asus has not yet released pricing and availability for its latest ROG products. Stay tuned for the latest updates.
