When a manga chapter ends in a cliffhanger, fans of the Japanese comics can't help themselves with coming up with theories as to what will happen next, pretty much like what's happening right now in "Attack on Titan" Chapter 75 or also known for its Japanese title "Shingeki No Kyojin" Chapter 75.

On the last "Shingeki No Kyojin" Chapter 74, fans were shocked with the conclusion of the chapter. Levi Ackerman tried to take out Reiner Braun by piercing his neck and his heart but unfortunately, the attempt was all in vain. The nape of the neck is the most lethal part of a Titan's body and Reiner surviving the attack was no doubt a true mystery thus igniting the rumor mill once again.

According to the report from Movie News Guide, fans have speculated that one of the possible reasons behind Reiner's survival is the drink he drank right before the Survey Corps have arrived on the scene. Many presumed that the black tea-like drink is actually a medicine or a booster of some sort that can enhance the Titan's endurance and power—of course this might also affect the defense of its body.

However, not all of them approves this theory as Eigengaru of Mangahelpers [via Movie News Guide] has suggested that, instead of a potion, the Titan shifters have gone through some sort of evolution where their body have developed some precautions for events such as this one. In addition to that, it could also be a one-time use spell that protects the user from harm, whether it'd be from a lethal attack or prevent them from dying.

Needless to say, these are all just speculations for the upcoming "Attack on Titan" Chapter 75. So for now, fans are advised to keep an open-mind and wait for the next "Shingeki No Kyojin" Chapter to come out.
