'Attack on Titan' season 2 spoilers, rumors: Levi, Mikasa, and Armin in jeopardy?

(Facebook/Shingeki no Kyojin) Rumor has it that "Attack on Titan" 2 will introduce a new villain.

While the air date of "Attack on Titan" season 2 is still unconfirmed, various rumors and speculations on how its upcoming season may pan out have surfaced online. The latest in the rumor mill is that Captain Levi Ackerman, Mikasa Ackerman, or Armin Arlert will encounter something that could endanger their lives.

According to a report, fans are now apprehensive that the upcoming season 2 of "Attack on Titan" may feature the deaths of either Levi or Mikasa. There are those who believe that "Attack on Titan" could feature a story arc wherein Mikasa and Armin will be in peril of losing their lives, and that there's nothing Eren Yeager can do to save them.

It is also alleged that the anime series will introduce a new villain that will also threaten Levi and Mikasa. However, there is still no solid piece of information that can confirm this detail as of now.

Meanwhile, spoiler reports have been consistent in saying that the upcoming season of "Attack on Titan" will reveal the true identity of Krista Lenz. Allegedly, when the anime returns for its season 2 run, it will be unveiled that Krista is actually a member of the powerful Reiss family, which has been manipulating the corrupt king all along.

It is also said that Krista — whose real name is alllegedly Historia Reiss — will assume the throne as the new queen after the king is overthrown by a revolt led by Captain Erwin Smith.

Apparently, the upcoming season will be making a lot of explosive reveals concerning the Reiss family, as it seems that the family is capable of shape-shifting into titans, too. As Krista is a part of the Reiss family, it goes without saying that she can shape-shift as well.

While there is no denying that the rumors about the upcoming season of "Attack on Titan" are nothing short of exciting, they are still unconfirmed news and will remain as such until the anime returns for its second season run, which is said to be in spring next year.
