British video game developer Rocksteady Studios, speaking about the final series of the Batman Arkham trilogy, announced the Batman: Arkham Knight release date for PS4, Xbox One and PC has been pushed back to 2015 instead of October this year.

While Batman fans are anxious to enter the bigger-than-Arkham-city open world, try the driveable Batmobile (which doubles as a tank) and see the explosive conclusion to the Arkham series this year, the game developer's announcement means the anxiety of waiting continues to the next year.

The developer just needs more time to ensure quality. Marketing Manager Guy Perkins of Rocksteady Studios told Gamespot, they want the best Batman Arkham experience, and that will take time.

Batman: Arkham Knight is the first Batman: Arkham game that will not be available on PS3 and Xbox 360 due to some tech limitations. For instance, Perkins shared, the Batmobile just cannot run on previous-gen consoles, as it needs a larger Arkham City, with a bigger environment to accommodate it.

Dax Ginn from Rocksteady Studios also spoke to Kotaku in May about the Batman game delay. He said the upcoming Batman Arkham game is "awesome," and because of this, takes time.

They are working on this awesome quality with the help of DC Comics and Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment. The upcoming game will have Gotham City's protector face the ultimate challenge.

How long would Batman game fans have to wait till they can take control of Batman, and be assured Gotham's superhero will be fine, as faces his greatest threat in the epic trilogy's conclusion? The trailer "Evening the Odds" says there will no longer be a Savior and Batman.

Batman: Arkham Knight is listed in Gamespot to come on December 15, 2015.
