Last Tuesday, Bethesda Studios announced in a post at their official blog that that they will be hosting an event at the E3 Entertainment Expo in Hollywood, California in June later this year. They've encouraged fans to participate in their first ever conference at E3, as posted in the article, "We've saved some seats just for you, our fans. Feel like a celebrity by attending our most exciting event yet, live and in-person! Keep an eye out – in the coming months we'll be sharing details on how you can register to attend."

Fans who won't be able to attend the event can also take part in the festivities by tuning in to their official Twitch channel as it will be available via live stream for the entire duration of the proceedings. While it isn't explicitly stated, the event should be available for viewing free of charge, as with most live Twitch broadcasts.

Bethesda's decision to hold such a huge event for the first time raises the obvious question of what exactly will happen at the event. Long-time fans of the studio have speculated about potential announcements involving keenly awaited games such as 'Elder Scrolls 6' and 'Fallout 4'. The studio has so far declined from releasing too many details, if at all, pertaining to how far along the development process those projects are in at the moment.

While June is still a long ways away, Bethesda fans have something to look forward to in the form of the Elder Scrolls Online. A subscription-less version of the game will be released for PC and Mac on March 17 this year, while the console version has a target date sometime in June. It will be called "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" and will give players the opportunity to explore the entire game world from the original game with updated content and reward systems.
