"The Big Bang Theory's" (BBT) three main cast members are currently in negotiations with CBS to renew their contracts for the 11th installment of the sitcom.

CBS entertainment president Glenn Geller spoke with Variety at the Television Critics Association winter press tour earlier this week, and he said their goal was to get Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, and Johnny Galecki back for season 11.

"We are in negotiations, but it is definitely business as usual. We are guardedly optimistic that we will make a deal," Geller stated.

The trio signed their previous deals back in 2014, and they have reportedly earned an enormous $1 million per episode for the past three seasons. With millions of viewers per episode, surely, it is in the network's best interest to keep the highly successful comedy series on the air.

Meanwhile, a BBT spinoff "Sheldon" is still under development. The spinoff will revolve around Sheldon's (Parsons) childhood years in Galveston, Texas. CBS and Warner Bros. are still in talks to keep the current TV show for a few more seasons alongside the currently on-the-works prequel.

In the meantime, season 10 episode 12 just came out on Thursday, Jan. 5, and the show's avid fans can't stop discussing which couple has the merriest — no — rather the funniest holiday experience.

The episode started with Sheldon and Amy (Mayim Bialik) visiting Leonard (Galecki) and Penny (Cuoco) for the first time since the holidays, and they shared details about their terrible trip to Texas to meet Sheldon's mother. Then Howard and Bernadette shared their experience with Raj and Stuart, the volunteered male nannies. Meanwhile, Howie (Simon Helberg) and Bernie (Melissa Rauch) talked about their struggle as first-time parents. As might be expected, the host couple had their fair share of problems during the holidays and they fought over a Christmas tree.

Anyway, the remaining episodes of this season have yet to be announced.
