'Blindspot' episode 11 spoilers and latest news: Upcoming episodes to delve into Operation Orion and truth about Jane's abduction

"Blindspot" has been one of the most successful freshman series this season. It seems that viewers have been captivated by Jane Doe's story and are eager to learn more about her tattoos.
Last Monday, the show aired its mid-season finale. Though the show is on hiatus until February, the last few minutes of the tenth episode revealed a shocking twist that will have fans talking until the show's return.
By the end of the tenth episode, Jane had finally felt safe with her situation and kissed Weller. However, moments later, she was kidnapped and tortured by CIA Deputy Director Carter. Thankfully, she was saved by Oscar, Jane's ex-fiancé whom viewers have gotten to know via flashbacks. Oscar showed Jane a video of herself explaining her current situation. "If you're watching this, the mission is going as planned," Jane says in the video. The surprising twist was that Jane's memory loss and her tattoos were all planned by Jane herself.
When the show returns, it will pick up right where episode 10 left off. According to series creator Martin Gero, Jane will be deeply affected by Oscar's revelation. She will once again be in a state of flux. But for Gero, this revelation will add new and exciting dimensions to the show.
"This [new information] allows her to play stuff, and it adds a whole new layer to the show that is super exciting. It allows us to clarify some of the mystery while adding new parts to it, and it complicates her relationship with the team and with Weller, but in a really fun and beautiful way," Gero revealed.
The appearance of Oscar will also complicate things for Jane and Weller's relationship. At this point, Oscar is the only one who knows that truth about Jane's past. The second half of the season will start to delve into what had happened since she was abducted at the age of five. The upcoming episodes will also delve into Operation Orion. Though Carter was killed in the previous episode, he may still appear via flashbacks as viewers learn more about this mysterious case.
"Blindspot" returns on Feb. 29, 2016 at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
