'Captain America: Civil War' news: The Hulk might not make an appearance in the movie

With the release date of "Captain America: Civil War" already set, there is no denying that the anticipation for the upcoming film is very palpable. While seeing the patriotic supersoldier on the silver screen is exciting enough, it seems like Marvel fanatics would receive a treat as the upcoming film is expected to be more of an Avenger reunion.
Reports say that the "Captain America: Civil War" would take place directly after the events in "The Avengers: Age of Ultron." Black Widow, Hawkeye, and the Scarlet Witch are expected to be in the movie.
However, the appearance of the green goliath, Hulk, is still unknown. An interview by the Daily Beast, as reported by Cinemablend, claims no one from the production team has been in touch with Mark Ruffalo, the actor playing Hulk. He said, "I don't know! I heard a rumor about that the other day. I haven't seen a script, nobody's told me and I don't have dates. But I can only hope so! ... I was talking to Robert Downey the other day, and he said, 'Ruffalo! I heard you're coming out here,' and I said, 'OK! I'll be there.'"
While Ruffalo's participation remains in limbo, "Sherlock" star, Martin Freeman, has confirmed that he would be part of the cast. At Giffoni 2015, he gave a hint to BadTaste about his role in the upcoming movie.
"He works in conjunction with the superheroes and certain agencies that help to tame the superheroes' power. You're not quite sure which side he's on. It looks a little bit like he's playing one game, when he's playing another."
He continued to say, "It's the kind of character I like because he's ambiguous and because you don't know whether he's good or bad. And I like that area which isn't black or white."
"Captain America: Civil War" will be released in theatres on May 6, 2016.
