'Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders' episode 2: FBI International Response Team headed to Mumbai for organ trafficking case

"Criminal Minds" spin-off series "Beyond Borders" aired its premiere episode last Wednesday night and initial reviews seem to be very promising.
"Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders" follows the FBI's International Response Team as they solve international cases, specifically rescuing American citizens who find themselves in danger while spending time abroad. The IRT is headed by Unit Chief Jack Garrett (Gary Sinese). His team comprises military veteran and profiler Matt Simmons (Daniel Henney), multi-lingual cultural anthropologist Clara Seger (Alana De La Garza), medical examiner Mae Jarvis (Annie Funke), and their U.S.-based tech analyst Monty Montgomery (Tyler James Williams).
In the recently aired premiere episode "The Harmful One," two American women disappeared from a farm in Thailand where they had been volunteering. The IRT headed down to Bangkok to solve the case before the incoming storm washed away all the evidence.
From the premiere episode, it was evident that the IRT had been working for some time. They were joined by Clara who decided to return after a two-year sabbatical wherein she was dealing with the loss of her husband. The team worked well together and were able to find the missing Americans.
On next week's episode, titled "Harvested," the IRT will be headed to the megacity of Mumbai India when an American man blacks out after attending a music festival. When he wakes up, he is in the slums and realizes that his kidney has been harvested. Furthermore, his friend, another American man, is missing. The IRT must weave through the densely populated city in order to find the missing American before it is too late.
Through the course of their investigation, the team will also discover that their UnSub is involved in much darker things than just selling organs in the Black Market. The action-packed promo previews the team hunting down the UnSub who is intent on covering up his tracks.
To see how everything unfolds, be sure to catch "Harvested" airing on March 23.
"Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders" airs every Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
