"Criminal Minds" is providing a lot of interesting sub-plots and unsubs in season 10, but fans should brace themselves of a particular intriguing killer this week. The Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) is up against a mind-controlling suspect and it seems a team member will be in danger.

In episode 21 named "Mr. Scratch", three different people implicated for murder claimed that they were attacked by a mysterious clawed shadow monster, reports TVGuide. This monster attacked them at the very moment the crime took place. This leads the BAU to suspect that the real culprit of these three deaths is actually a mind-controlling unsub. The synopsis further teases that the team hunts the killer who is controlling their minds.

Unfortunately, one of the BAU member is put in grave danger but who he or she is, is unknown from the promotional clip or episode's description. The writers have never concocted a mind-controlling killer, hence, this episode will definitely be fascinating for fans of "Criminal Minds".

Some viewers were rooting for a romance between Reid and Agent Dorian Loker. Sadly, executive producer Erica Messer told TVGuide in a separate article that their coffee date was only to show audiences that he's moved on from Maeve's death. While there is no possibility of the pair dating again, Messer did hint that her team may discuss Reid's love life and introduce a love interest at some point in season 11.

But how will season 10 end? Entertainment Weekly spoke to Messer, who revealed that the finale will revolve around Kate and Meg's story. The person kidnapping and auctioning people online will be introduced again, but with dire consequences for Kate and Meg. She revealed, "By the end of episode 22, we do a mini cliffhanger in that we know that Meg and her best friend are being kidnapped by the guy we saw in the premiere. (The finale) is our team fighting for one of our own to get her loved one back." Meg will be kidnapped and the BAU must scramble to catch the kidnapper.

Meanwhile, "Mr. Scratch" airs on Wednesday, April 22 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
