Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and Sports Illustrated model Irina Shayk has been going out for three years, and the pair continues to be inseparable despite being separately busy in their careers.

In this year's world cup, Cristiano Ronaldo plays for the Portugal national team, and this means time away from his girlfriend, Irina Shayk. The Russian supermodel is continuing to grace the pages of Sports Illustrated since 2007, and has never denied the relationship she has with the world-famous Ronaldo. During the time they were initially dating, Ronaldo released news about having a child. Surprisingly, it is not with the Sports Illustrated model.

"It is with great joy and emotion that I inform I have recently become father to a baby boy," posted the footballer in his Facebook page.

"As agreed with the baby's mother, who prefers to have her identity kept confidential, my son will be under my exclusive guardianship," added Ronaldo. Shayk did not seem fazed with this news, and continued to date Ronaldo despite the shocking news.

In an interview, Shayk even revealed that she is not a huge fan of soccer, but it doesn't mean that she won't support her man.

"I'm not a fan of soccer, for sure not," quipped Shayk in a 2010 GQ interview. In the same interview, Shayk shares the reason how she ended up being a model.

"It was by pure chance. My mother saw an ad on a bus stop and I came to a local beauty school accompanying my older sister," said the model in the same post.
